GST Rates Finder app download for Android: Now find the rates of GST for various goods and services with the help of CBEC’s new mobile app

In a bid to help users find the rates of GST for various goods and services, CBEC has recently launched a mobile app, called GST Rates Finder, which is available on the Android platform and will soon be available on the IOS iphone platform as well.
The Central Board of Excise and Customs (CBEC) has taken certain initiatives for ease of doing business under the GST regime. At a time when some segments of the business community are talking about teething troubles government has introduced an Android app to make Goods and Services Tax (GST) easy to understand. It's an Android app on Google play store.
The Indian government has launched this GST app to facilitate smooth transaction to the new tax regime.

The app is currently available on the Android platform, but will soon be made available for Apple's iOS users as well, the Finance Ministry said. The rates can also be accessed from the CBEC GST website.
Once the GST Rate Finder app has been downloaded it can be used in offline mode as well.
"A taxpayer can search for applicable CGST (Central GST), SGST (State GST), UTGST (Union Territory GST) rate and Compensation Cess on a supply," the Finance Ministry said.
